Works (#3) of the big stadium Lille Metropole (October 2010)

This is a view on the evolution of the works of the future football Lille Metropole stadium of the LOSC 'ELISA EIFFAGE' of Villeneuve d'Ascq. On the building site, we can count 10 tower cranes. The shot was taken in october 2010, in the beginning of the afternoon. Panorama made in HDR version (enfuse).

The Grand Stade Lille Metropole is now called the Stade Pierre Mauroy.

France is affectionately referred to as "the Hexagon" for its overall shape.French history goes back to the Gauls, a Celtic tribe which inhabited the area circa 300BC until being conquered by Julius Caesar.The Franks were the first tribe to adopt Catholic Christianity after the Roman Empire collapsed.
