Gomensoro Square is located in the neighborhood of Pocitos in Montevideo Uruguay. Its front faces the coast of Montevideo, which corresponds to the Rio de la Plata. It is surrounded by buildings constructed long after the inauguration of the plaza, which opened in 1897.
