Reunion

Au début du 20ème Siècle, le quartier de Ravine Blanche était encore semi rural. Attiré par la proximité avec le centre-ville, les habitants sont venus s'installer en masse dans les années 1960. Si le quartier a longtemps semblé vivoter, il connaît un renouveau manifeste depuis la fin des années 1980 grâce aux investissements massifs dans le logement et l'économie, notamment depuis 4 ans grâce à une action vigoureuse de l'Agence Nationale de Rénovation Urbaine (ANRU). Son front de mer demeure très attractif au point que l'espace Salahin soit devenu un endroit incontournable pour les concerts en plein air.

At first 20th Century, the neighborhood of Ravine Blanche was still half rural. Attracted by the proximity with the center city, the inhabitants came to install themselves in mass in 1960s. If the neighborhood seemed to struggle during a long time, it knows a real revival since the end of the 1980s with the massive investments in the lodging and the economy, notably for 4 years thanks to a vigorous action of the National Agency of Urban Renovation (ANRU). His sea forehead remains very attractive to the point that the space Salahin became an essential place for the concerts in the open.
