Small Bridge at Pêgo do Inferno, near Tavira, Algarve - Portugal
Portugal

"Pêgo do Inferno" is a small lagoon and a waterfall located north of Tavira in Algarve, Portugal.

It used to be called the "secret waterfall" by the locals for it wasn't well known. Today however many visitors come and spend a few hours to admire the place, take a swim in the refreshing water and jump from a rope or from the top of the waterfall. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the region.

Entrance is free but please do not litter the area and be careful when jumping from the slipery rocks; there isn't any emergency center close by.
