The Zorbas Mansion

The Zorbas Mansion The Zorba House is the only rescued mansion of "continental" architecture in the city of Arta. Declared as a historic monument by the Ministry of Culture in 1964 (Government Gazette 126 / Β / 8-4-64), it was expropriated in 1965 under the no. 5752/2537 / 17-04-1965 (Government Gazette 97 / 16-06-1965) Joint Decision of the Finance Ministers and the Presidency of the Governments, while in the 1980s he housed the offices of the Archaeological Service for a few years.
