Zhishanyan Contract Memorial
Taipei

Zhishan Contract was signed in 1805. The Huiji Temple staff set up a monument to safeguard the rights in 1849.

At August, 1847, Huang Lu invented some excuses to fell old trees at northeast Zhishanyan, then he performed a play to apologize. The temple staff provided again to stop cutting down the trees.

In order to prevent forgetting this agreement, and understand the background of the donated land for the construction of temple, Zhishan Contract Memorial was established in 1849.
