The mill is located in the Ostrachtal, a valley near Bad Hindelang. The mill was built around 1500, thus it's about 500 years old. During the whole time it was used by blacksmiths. Even today it's operated. In former times the main product was weapons, nowadays almost exclusively frying pans.
