Im Sandtorhafen befindet sich auch der Traditionsschiffhafen. Er lässt in der HafenCity Tradition und Moderne aufeinandertreffen. Das künstlich geschaffene Hafenbecken bietet mit seiner 380 Meter langen Pontonanlage Liegeplätze für rund 25 historische Fahrzeuge.
