Worcester Floods, Feb 2014, New Road Cricket Ground
England

During the beginning part of 2014 the UK experienced strong storms that contained a lot of rain. This resulted in a large amount of danage across a wide swath of the UK. Worcester is situated on the river Severn and most of the time is a plesent river running through the middle of a city. Unfortunately at this time it was swolen by vast amounts of water coming from as far afield as Wales. All the time this was being taken the water levers were rising and soon after finishing I head that areas of Worcester were being closed to traffic due to the flooding.
