小坪頂與坪頂亭距離約30公尺，於坪頂亭可看見多種臺灣原生種老樹，如魯花數、月橘和黃連木等，此處有山谷風之熱氣流網上升，並且因為月橘和黃連木，本身會散發香味，因此感覺特別涼爽。
