The Grand Canyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located entirely in northern Arizona and is one of the great tourist attractions in the United States. The massive canyon encompasses several distinct areas, most famous of which isGrand Canyon National Park , a United States National Park. The national park is itself divided into two main areas: the remote North Rim and the more accessible (and therefore more crowded) South Rim. In addition, the southwestern end of the canyon is located within the borders of two Indian reservations: the Havasupai Indian Reservation and theHualapai Indian Reservation (also known as Grand CanyonWest). All of the sections of the canyon offer amenities for visitors, but the national park, and in particular the South Rim, is by far the most popular destination and the best equipped to handle the millions of yearly visitors.

Unlike the South and North Rim, Grand Canyon West is not part of the Grand Canyon National Park. It is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation at the western Grand Canyon corridor about 120 miles east of Las Vegas and about 72 miles northwest ofKingman, Arizona. Because the West Rim is located much closer to Las Vegas than the South Rim, a great many tourists and tours originate from Las Vegas. However, since the opening of SkyWalk at Grand Canyon West, tourist visits have dramatically increased from many directions..

 Grand Canyon West is a travel destination that promotes the cultural experience of visiting the Hualapai Reservation and the striking views at the western rim of the Grand Canyon. Its most known attraction is the recently builtSkyWalk which is a glass bridge that juts out into open space from the canyon edge. With nothing but glass under your two feet, it's almost like walking out into "air" suspended 4,000 feet above the canyon floor and the Colorado River. It is an amazing sensation with 360 degree, incredible views.
