Blakers Park is one of many small parks dotted around the city. Many of them have lakes and sports facilities and associated small cafes and the obligatory Clock Tower. The views, birdsong and community spirit generated by these sites is nice to see.

The city is famous for its Royal Pavilion and Piers, however its Marina and eclectic beach activities have also risen to prominence. The cities' night life includes many restaurants, bars, clubs and of course it is well known for its large Gay community.
