1.學校家庭化：校舍以二個L型雙層斜屋頂組成開放式四合院，中間一個600坪草皮中庭。

2.安全人性化：教室有雙走廊及四座門，疏散時逃生有門。

3.校園植栽本土化：保留移植前校園內原有樹種，新植栽以櫸、無患子等本土植物為主，可作為台灣本土植物教學的教材。

4.資源社會化：寬廣、美麗、視野良好的校地，可提供作為童軍露營活動場地；美好的校園是社區居民的秘密花園。
