담마얀지 파토는 정사각형 구조와 네 방향으로 난 거대 입구,

돌출 현관들과 박공 장식까지 아난다 사원과 거의 비슷하다.
단지 사원의 외벽과 입구 등에 남아 있는 스투코가 별로 없어
밋밋한 성곽 같다는 느낌이 든다.
