Located in Butterfly Valley, Diyuan Temple stands tall amid green mountains, surrounded by Hongshui River and Laonong River. It has a splendid monastic presence.

Paintings, jade and stone carvings, and Budda statues are its main design themes. Its unique architectural style embodies both traditional and innovative concepts. The temple eaves, beams, and columns are based on the spirit of the Dunhuang paintings, and combined with Taiwan's unique painting style.
