Standing between the cultivation centre and the long-men grottoes art is the twelve season lanterns.

This is an annually large-scale cultural event in Dong Zhen temple hosted by FGS. With various beautifully decorated Lanterns & Flowers, Auspicious rabbit lanterns, 18 Arhats Area, Art gallery Culture Show and more.

Fo Guang Shan in Chinese literally means “the Mountain of Buddha’s Light”. FGS is an international Buddhist Order founded by Ven Master Hsing Yun in 1967 with the headquarter in Kaoshiung, Taiwan. It operates 62 branch temples in Taiwan, and 98 throughout the rest of the world.
