Beomo-Sa is one of the oldest buddist temple of Korea, which was built about 1,300 years ago. However, all the building is burnt down by Japanese atttack in late 15th centry, and then recovered afterwards.

Ilju-mun means single columned gate, and every Korean Buddist temple has one. Ilju-mun is the first gate and it seperates the sacred and the ordinary world.
