At the Weather station on Kilimanjaro's Northern Icefield. We look at Reusch Crater (133deg) and Uhuru Peak (157deg), Mount Meru is visible at the horizon (253deg).

Thomas Glacier Route: We started from Arrow glacier camp, went down past Lava tower, around the mountain and up on the northwestern side to the Northern Icefield. Certainly the longest and most exhausting route to the summit, but absolutely spectacular. Continuing to Reusch crater requires a rappel into the crater.
