Stralsund is a Hanseatic city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

Here we are at the Fährstrasse next to the Scheelehaus. In 2010 several of the old Hanseatic Kaufmanns houses have been refurbished and are used today as a hotel.

Stralsund ist eine deutsche Hansestadt, welche an der Ostseeküste südlich der größten deutschen Insel Rügen liegt. Bereits 1234 erhielt Stralsund das Stadtrecht. Seit 2002 gehört die Altstadt mit dem Titel 'Historische Altstädte Wismar und Stralsund' zum UNESCO-Welterbe.
