Santo Domingo Square

Located between the streets Ruiz Belvis and Dr. Veve and to the front of Porta Coeli, one of the oldest Christian structures in the western hemisphere founded between years 1606 and 1607.

This place is called Stroll of the Próceres officially since within it; the busts of 8 illustrious personages of the city have been placed: Lola Rodríguez deTió, Francisco Mariano Quiñones Quiñones, José Marcial Quiñones Quiñones, Ursula Cardona, Tomás Ramírez Quiñones, Manuel F. Rossy Calderón, José A. Vivoni y Luis F. Sambolín Alsina.
