Marietta National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia. It is on 23.3 acres and as of the end of 2006, had 18,742 interments. It is now closed to new interments. It was intended to provide interment for about 10,000 Union dead from General William Tecumseh Sherman’s Atlanta Campaign.

Capital and largest city in Georgia, Atlanta is known the world over for its parks, professional sports teams, shopping, museums, and entertainment.
