Zavattarello è un comune di 1.085 abitanti nell'alta val Tidone in provincia di Pavia. Il piccolo borgo, che fa parte del circuito dei i borghi più belli d'Italia, è dominato dalla mole del castello di Zavattarello. Vive soprattutto di agricoltura (uva e mele) e di turismo (residenze estive, agriturismo e turismo panoramico motorizzato).
