Castillo de Vimianzo, Spain
Northern Spain

The castle dates back to the thirteenth century Vimianzo and encuenta in excellent condition currently performing the functions of a museum and cultural center.

Octagonal, has four towers, a parade and other agencies, and is surrounded by a moat with a drawbridge.

The keep is the one that keeps the diamond battlements and the walk round the walls.

The builders of the fort were, most likely, the Lobeira Mariño, back in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Since then several owners of the castle as the revolt as Moscoso and several Irmandiña War in 1467, the castle was one of the Vimianzo strengths irmandiños overthrown by the sigllo XV.
