Demolished heritage: The basis of the northwest heel tower of the Szeged castle turned up

The bases of the northwest heel tower of the Szeged castle demolished in 1881 were found in the course of the exploration made in the cellar of the former cultural centre. It turned up a tower may serve as a newer footing to the accurate ground-plan of the mediaeval fortification his composition.
