Dunbeath Harbour, Caithness, Scotland
Scotland

Dunbeath Harbour near the statue of Kenn and the Salmon.

Kenn was the main character of Neil Gunn's novel "Highland River" which was set in and around Dunbeath where Neil Gunn himself called home.

This is a lovely quiet place. If you carry on past the pier there is a picnic area next to a small sandy shore.
