After the Pont du Gard, Carcassonne and are the nine locks of Fonseranes the most visited attraction in Languedoc-Roussillon. This flight of locks at Beziers is an absolute masterpiece of architecture of the Canal du Midi. At a length of 300 meters difference in height that is overcome of 21,50 meters. As a visitor one of the locks is just here, almost one wants to lend a hand himself. You can hear the quiet thoughtful command of experienced skippers and the excited shouts of the inexperienced crew members. Lust, as well as time to try something?
