Etna Crater 2008
Sicily

The pano was taken at the side of a Crater on the Etna mountain, which is an active Stratovolcano in southern Italy - Sicily.

The crater is a smaller side crater formed during the 2008 lava flow at an altitude of 2400m above sea level.

The photo was taken in late spring people were climbing to altitude to have a last skiing experience.
