This is a private pier which I trespassed to take a good view of the beautiful Lago de Atitlán away from the hustle and bustle of the tacky and touristic township of Panajachel. There are three volcanoes in view here: the one on the right is San Pedro while the two on the left are Tolima in the front and Atitan to the back respectively. I spent 2 days in the little town of San Pedro back in 2005 and hiked all the way up to the top of the volcano of the same name - the view is magnificent up there but regrettably I didn't have enough time on this occasion and so a general impression of the place would suffice.
