Wikipedia:"Als n-Wagen wird eine Gattung von Personenwagen der Deutschen Bundesbahn bezeichnet. Umgangssprachlich ist diese Wagengattung als Silberling bekannt geworden. Diese Bezeichnung verdanken diese Nahverkehrswagen ihrem Wagenkasten aus poliertem Edelstahl. Die Wagen wurden, als Nachfolger der yl-Wagen, zwischen 1958 und 1980 in über 5000 Exemplaren gebaut und sind bis heute bei DB Regio im Einsatz."
