Dinorwic slate quarry - old winch house on an incline
Wales

This is one of the old winch houses on the top of a quarry incline. Those huge winches were used to lower a full waggon and pull up an empty one. More info on the Dinorwich slate quarry can be found under Wikipedia Dinorwic Quarry
