Village Gornja Sipulja is one of many Serbian villages which are abandoned as a result of uncontrolled migration of population from rural area to cities. After World War Two the vast majority of young people left their homes and went to industrial centers looking for better living conditions. The most population of Gornja Sipulja village is relocated to nearby City of Sabac and City of Loznica, but some of them moved to Belgrade and Novi Sad.
