Parque Lecocq
Montevideo

El Parque Lecocq fue creado por Don Francisco Lecocq (1790 -1882), basado en un diseño del arquitecto Mario Paysée. Comprende un área de 120 hectáreas, donde diferentes species de animales viven en lugares que simulan sus habitat naturales. El parque cuenta con 33 especies de animales en cautividad. Una de ellas son los Papio hamadryas, o babuinos que podemos ver en una jaula gigante que simula su habitat natural.
