Wertheim Village at Night 2012
Baden-Wuerttemberg

"Wertheim" is the largest city in the "Main-Tauber-Area", 30 km west of "Würzburg" and 80 km east of "Frankfurt". High above the city is the landmark of “Wertheim”, Wertheim Castle, one of the most powerful stone castles in southern Germany. Attractions: Museum of Glass, Historic Market Square, romantic streets and buildings from the Middle Ages and of course, "Wertheim Village", the most popular destination among the "Spessart" and "Odenwald".

More About Bavaria

The “Free State of Bavaria” is renowned for being culturally unique and for the emphasis which it places on preserving its heritage and traditions. It is also extraordinarily beautiful, boasting a plethora of castles, palaces, cathedrals, abbeys and monasteries not to mention spectacular scenery. Bavaria is more than Alps, men in “lederhosen” (leather pants), women in “dirndl” (traditional dresses) and frothy glasses of beer by the “maβ” (liter).
