Yuda Mountain Observation Point
Taiwan

Yuda Mountain located on the junction of Namasia District and Alishan Township of Chiayi County has an altitude of 1,271 meters. It’s an ideal hiking route.

From its peak, visitors can appreciate Jade Mountain in the north, Nantsuhsien River in the south, and Tsengwen Reservoir in the west.

In the past, Yuda Mountain was a place for aboriginal hunters to take a rest and get together during hunting trips. Now, it is the location of several broadcast transmitting stations. The weather is cold and foggy throughout the year, making it an ideal place to grow tea.
