園主高先生是竹子湖在地農戶，以陽明山上花農真人故事改編的電視劇「草山春暉」就是高先生的叔公家的故事。高先生主掌海芋園的栽種與管理，親和力強的高太太主管餐飲服務。三年前，應來客要求，開始供應咖啡，讓採花的遊人可以歇腳小憩，去年初開始提供台式熱炒的餐飲服務，園區視野遼闊，頗受消費者青睞。
