Ahorn - Protestant parish church interior view
Franconie

Ahorn is a municipality in the Upper Franconian district of Coburg. Here, the parish church forms a striking ensemble together with the neighboring castle. The church consists on the eastern side of the medieval tower and the northern Gothic choir room and the two-storey sacristy. The younger nave is from the late Baroque period. The long house is covered by a wooden flat ceiling. The rectangular interior is dominated by a three-sided, two-storey gallery on Tuscan wooden columns.
