A symbol of "Aschaffenburg" is the “Stiftsplatz” with the church "St. Peter and Paul, one of the oldest buildings in Aschaffenburg. On the steps of the church is a remarkable half-timbered house (former pharmacy). Here in “Aschaffenburg” starts the pilgrimage to „Santiago de Compostela“.
