The spa town of Bad Windsheim is located west of Nuremberg on the dividing line of the two nature parks Steigerwald and Frankenhöhe. We are in the middle of the old town directly in front of the town hall. The castle-like Baroque building was built in the years 1713 to 1717 under the master mason Johann Michael Aspacher, burnt down completely in December 1730 and was rebuilt in 1732 by the Windsheim city master builder Johann Michael Krauss.
