Cathedral rock, The Storr, Skye
Scotland

The Storr is a mountain that forms part of the Trotternish Ridge, which was created by a massive ancient landslide. It is famous for a tall rock pinnacle known as 'The Old Man of Storr', which is surrounded by two smaller pinnacles. They are collectively known as 'The 'Sanctuary'. The separated rocky outcrop, with holes that resemble windows, is named 'The Cathedral'.

The Isle of Skye, the largest of the Inner Hebrides, is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the British Isles.
