Este espacio rupestre, donde se adoró la talla románica de la Virgen de la Armedilla hasta comienzos del siglo XVI, es el auténtico origen religioso, simbólico y físico del monasterio que se construiría a partir de 1402. This space rock, where the Romanesque carving of the Virgen de la Armedilla was worshiped until the early sixteenth century, is the real religious, symbolic and physical origin of the monastery to be built from 1402.
