Dinkelsbuehl - New Town Hall
Franconie

In 1733, the present-day New Town Hall was built as a private house for the postman, senator and later mayor Bauer. Since 1855 here is the city administration. The banner above the main entrance shows a quotation from the so-called "Directional Letter" of 1387, which involved the guilds in the city regiment. On 4 November 1797, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was dining in the opposite former guest house "Drei Mohren" on his journey to Nuremberg.
