Duncansby Head Lighthouse , Caithness , Scotland
Scotland

Near to John O'Groats , Duncansby Head is found at the most north-easternly point on the Scottish mainland .

As well as excellent views of the Orkneys and the Pentland Skerries lighthouse , the Duncansby Head stacks are also very nearby .

The lighthouse was first built in 1924 then automated in 1997 .
