The Upper Gate from 1562 is one of three gates in the well-preserved city wall of Eibelstadt. The two-storey solid building is located at the southern end of the main street and was the main entrance from the direction of Ochsenfurt. Federal road 13 ran through the gate until the bypass was completed. Today it's much quieter on here.
