The Hafenlohr rises near Rothenbuch and flows into the Main in Hafenlohr. For about 25 km it meanders through the picturesque valley with impressive flora and fauna. Here is Einsiedel, a hamlet consisting of a few farmsteads. In the 19th century, a glassworks with 14 residential buildings, a school and a church was built here. At the same time, an iron hammer was being operated in Lichtenau. Unfortunately, little has remained of this.
