The monastery Heilsbronn in Franconia is a former abbey of the Cistercians. The monastery church was built between 1132 and 1139 as a Romanesque basilica, but was soon redesigned and expanded gothic. The nave, the northern side nave, parts of the nave and chancel are still preserved from the Romanesque structure. Here we show the choir altar.
