Heilsbronn - In the side nave of the monastery church
Franconie

The monastery Heilsbronn in Franconia is a former abbey of the Cistercians. The panorama was made in the side nave of the monastery church between the organ and the Marian altar. The Marian altar was donated in 1511 by the abbot Johannes Wenck. The pictures of the blackboard were created by the pupil Sebastian Dayg (1490-1554), a pupil from Nördlingen. In the middle shrine, Mary stands on the crescent with St. Lucia and Ottilie. The wing panels show three episodes: birth, temple and marriage with Joseph and the image of justification.
