Around the Huelshoff Castle there is an extensive, well-cultivated park, newly laid out on the basis of old plans, an ideal spot for visitors to stroll, relax and enjoy themselves. In spring, tulip and narcissi bloom, followed in summer by rhododendrons and azaleas, which recreate the atmosphere which once inspired the writer to many of her poems and stories.
