Kitzingen is one of the oldest cities in the district of Lower Franconia. The former synagogue in Kitzingen was built in 1883. The plans of the synagogue, a historicist sandstone building with brick in round arch style, created by the construction technician Schneider. The execution of the construction work took Master Korbacher. The building is now used for cultural events.
