The "Bavaria tower" in Lohr dates back to 13/14. Century, is 40 meters high and was part of the city wall. Characteristic are the large rectangular cuboid and the Baroque dome of the building. The massive tower stands at the exit of the fishing district, on the corner Fischergasse/Turmstrasse. The tower is the last, which is receive from the former city fortifications.
