We took the Gornergrat rack railway from Zermatt up to the Gornergrat (3'089 meters) and hiked down to the Riffelalp (2'222 meters).

Here we are at the Gornergrat railway station Riffelberg (2'582 meters), where we had a nice lunch.

They prepared the arena for the next weekend world’s highest Swiss wrestling festival, the Gornergrat Schwingfest.

Eine tolle Tour über den Furgg und den oberen Theodulgletscher in Zermatt mit der anschliessenden Besteigung des Breithorns. Die Tour wurde durch den Anbieter hoehenfiber.ch organisiert. Die Organisation hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Unterkunft in der Gandegghütte mit dem tollen Essen bleibt in bester Erinnerung
